Alexxiss Jackson will be hanging with TERMINUS & Friends this Tuesday playing Destiny 2. Think of it as a talk show with industry professionals while they play popular games. Join us November 14th at 7pm on Twitch (& YouTube) at twitch.tv/terminusevent.
Alexxiss was born and raised in Detroit, MI. From a very early age, she aspired to be a visual storyteller; she made her first film at 8 years old using the family camcorder (starring her collection of Transformers and Barbie dolls).
Now an internationally-awarded artist, Alexxiss has directed, produced, filmed, and edited award-winning music videos; served as Director of Photography on short films, as well as a TV show segment for Univision; edited a feature film; toured nationally with a band to create their tour video; worked on TV shows; photographed events for clients such as the Atlanta Film Festival, Atlanta Zoo, and Congresswoman Deborah Gonzalez, and more.
Her music videos have been shown in numerous film festivals in the United States, Canada, and Australia; including awards for "Best Music Video", "Best Metal Video", and "Best Alternative Music Video". She also procured a nomination for Video of the Year in the 2015 Georgia Music Awards.
She holds a dual degree from the University of Michigan in Film/Video Studies and English. She also completed the intensive Summer Film Program at the University of Southern California, where she studied under the Executive Creative Director of the Music Video Production Association.
All of these experiences have greatly influenced her creative methods. She possesses a varied skill set; and specializes in creating compelling visual content, from concept to completion. She aims to create images that are like "visual poetry".
