Well, the weekend of, we have a huge team, but most of the year it’s mainly these two fine folks hard at work, along with the rest of the team at Ideas United. Meet Jessica Reynoso, the Executive Director & Charles Judson, the Programming & Communications Director. Read on to find out more about their backgrounds and what makes them tick.
Jessica Reynoso - Executive Director
Jessica is Executive Director of TERMINUS Conference + Festival, serving to shape the vision of TERMINUS to reflect the mission and long term goals of Ideas United (IU). In her role she spearheads year-round operations, sponsorships, and team management for TERMINUS and other Ideas United events. Landing in Atlanta by way of New Mexico, Boston, and Los Angeles, Jessica has over 10 years experience in event production, marketing and content creation. Prior to her current role Jessica served as Account Manager at IU, overseeing the strategy and fulfillment of partnerships with Adobe, Panasonic, T-Mobile, Google, Doritos and more. She lives in Old-Fourth Ward with her dog Riley and can often be heard making Harry Potter references and found drinking Diet Coke.
Charles Judson - Programming & Communications Director
An Atlanta native, Charles is a veteran film festival organizer and programmer with over a decade of experience. Currently, he's the programming and communications director for TERMINUS Conference + Festival, a film and gaming event for emerging creators. Previously, he was Artistic Director for the Atlanta Film Festival, where he was on staff for over seven years. In 2014, he created and launched Film Bar Mondays, a weekly event for filmmakers in Atlanta, now with sister events in Jacksonville and Tampa Bay. As a mostly lapsed film critic and journalist, he also co-manages CinemATL, an online site covering film in Atlanta since 2005. He has a severe addiction to well designed spreadsheets and finds compulsively rewatching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes soothing.
